Just for Laughs

Today’s Titter

Angry Wife: “I should have married the devil.

He would make a better husband than you.”

Husband: “You would be arrested! Marriage

between relatives is illegal in this country.”

I  love these jokes from our church newsletter –

squeaky clean- but funny and clever at the same time.

If the Cap Doesn’t Fit

This week’s fun quip from the church newsletter:

I signed up to the gym this week.

Upon enquiring about a class that

was being offered, I was instructed

that I should wear loose fitting clothes.

If I had loose fitting clothing I wouldn’t

have signed up for a class in the first

place would I ?

Truer words have not been spoken.

Means Beans

Joke of the week:

I always intend to share the joke in our newsletter every week.

But I usually get busy and FORGET.

So this is this weeks: clean and funny:

A teacher asked her students to use the word “beans” in a sentence.

” My Father eats beans,”, said one girl.

” My Mother cooks beans,” said a boy.

A third student spoke up. “We are all human beans.”

Kids always say the best things.

A High- Tech Psalm

The Lord is my programmer,

I shall not crash.

He installed His software

on the hard disc of my heart;

all his commands are user- friendly

His directory guides me to the right

choices for His name sake.

Even though I scroll through the

problems of life, I will fear no bugs,

for He is my backup.

His password protects me.

He prepares a menu before me

in the presence of my enemies

His help is only a keyboard away.

Surely goodness and mercy

will follow me all the days of my life

And my file will be merged

with His and saved forever.

Even technology can be linked to God.

Worth thinking about.

A Life Of Love, Happiness and Joy

Fasting For Lent

( Pope Francis )

It would be wonderful to remember to be this this kind of person every day

Fast from hurting words, and say kind words.

Fast from sadness, and be filled with gratitude.

Fast from anger, and be filled with patience.

Fast from pessimism, and be filled with hope.

Fast from worries, and trust in God.

Fast from complaints, and contemplate simplicity.

Fast from pressure, and be prayerful.

Fast from bitterness, and fill our hearts with joy.

Fast from selfishness, and be compassionate towards others.

Fast from grudges, and be reconciled

Fast from words and be silent so we can HEAR.

In the words of Pope Francis Lent 2017.

Happy Hearts

Caring Christmas

Christmas isn’t all about candy canes,

nor about Christmas lights aglow.

Nor is it about Santa, ho! ho! ho!

It’s really about the Hearts we touch

and the care we show.

Disney

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas!

May you receive the gift of hope,

that this season brings;

May you celebrate faith

in whatever circumstance you are in;

Share joy with others

all of the time;

And live with love in your heart

as Jesus did.
